  • Commvault
    • Member Firm: "We have a managed cloud backup service where the software used is mainly down to the choice of the service provider, having said that the software used was a factor when selecting a provider. Our provider currently uses Commvault which we used to use when we managed out own backups and has proved to be very reliable. I would rate it 4."
  • Rubrik:
    • Member Firm: "We did an extensive trial of Veeam, Cohesity and Rubrik last year for our Cloud and on-Prem backup solution and went with Rubrik. We have deployed Rubrik for Cloud backup (M365 and Azure) and will replace the existing on-prem solution with the Rubrik throughout the next FY. We are also currently looking at Azure Site Recovery for virtual server recovery as part of our data centre rationalization process."
  • Veeam:
    • Member Firm: "We use Veeam Backup and backups are stored on a NAS that is located off-site. We are evaluating tools to store backups in Cloud."
  • Barracuda:
    • Member Firm: "I have tried in the past Barracuda I was very satisfied with it. Replication to appliance in the DR and Cloud Replication as well, cloud offered unlimited capacity."
  • StorageCraft
    • Member Firm: "For more than 10 years, I’ve relied on StorageCraft to backup my clients servers, around 600 at one point and important workstatiosn (less than 250) both to a local NAS and/or Backup Disaster Recovery (BDR) Server. In addition, offsite backup was included to a Data Center in Utah with full spinup on demand with virtual firewall and network capabilities."
